Ratten & Mäuse
Only rat poisons tested and approved by the Federal Biological Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry may be used for rat control. Qualified personnel can advise you on this. Outdoors or in easily accessible areas, the poison must be laid out securely to prevent accidents. Rat poison must not be laid out freely, uncovered, or unsecured in rooms that cannot be securely closed. Bait boxes or similar devices must be used in these cases.
Wespennest
Since these wasp species are primarily attracted to sweets, these foods should be well covered, and sweet drinks should also be sealed. If the buzzing insects are still present, it’s important to remain calm. Blowing on them is not an option either, as the exhaled carbon dioxide only makes these normally docile creatures aggressive, as is the attempt to simply „brush them away.“ So: patience is key! Legally, wasp nests must be relocated at least 4 km away.
